Nuakhai Paribar UAE is a vibrant community of Odia families and friends living across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, and beyond — united by our love for the land, our culture, and the spirit of Nuakhai.
Every year, we gather to observe Nuakhai — the most important social festival of Western Odisha — offering the first grain of the new harvest to our deity, sharing the joy of bhetghat (reunion), and keeping our traditions alive in this beautiful land.
Offering of the first new rice to Goddess Samaleswari — the sacred ritual that marks the beginning of Nuakhai.
The heartfelt reunion of friends and family — exchanging greetings of "Nuakhai Juhar" and receiving blessings from elders.
Folk songs, Dalkhai dance, and the rhythmic beat of Dhol and Nisan fill the air with festive joy.
